Cinco de Mayo at Webster

Do you know May 5th is, famously, also known as Cinco de Mayo?  The holiday commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.  It’s actually a bigger holiday in the United States than in Mexico, and is now a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.  Although the biggest celebrations take place in the Southwestern United States, New Yorkers never shy away from a reason to party!

Webster is joining in!  Look for a special festive Cinco de Mayo dinner in the Dining Room on May 5th.  Why not try your luck at the Cinco de Mayo Contest in our Lobby, too.

It’s the Kickoff of our International Night Celebrations.  Look for many more to come!cinco
