By Subway
Subways are a fast and economical way to travel within NYC. Webster Apartments is located between 9th and 10th Avenues. NYC Subway Stations are right nearby. The Station for the A, C and E trains is at 8th Avenue and 34th Street. The Station for the 1, 2, and 3 trains is at 7th Avenue and 34th Street. Metro Cards may be purchased at any station and can also be used on buses. Subway maps are also available at our Front Desk.

By Airports
New York City is served by three airports:
- John F. Kennedy (JFK) in Queens
- La Guardia (LGA) in Queens
- Newark (NWK) in New Jersey
Taxi are a plentiful but expensive option, though the best if you are travelling with several pieces of luggage. However, there are many convenient and less costly options available at all three airports. Click here for more information.
By Train
Webster is also a quick walk from Penn Station, a terminal for the Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit, and Amtrak.
Metro-North Trains, which serve Westchester County, parts of Connecticut and other points north, arrive at Grand Central Terminal, located at 42nd Street between Lexington and Vanderbilt avenues in midtown Manhattan. Amtrak, Long Island Rail Road, and New Jersey Transit trains arrive at Penn Station, located at 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue.
