Off-Campus Student Housing In NYC

What do you do when you’ve registered for your Fall semester in NYC, but you’ve had no luck securing on-campus housing? You do a deep dive on The Webster Apartments!

Unfortunately, many NYC universities are unable to offer housing at this time or simply do not have enough on-campus housing to accommodate all students. Perhaps you found The Webster Apartments via NYU’s helpful guide to off-campus living.

Regardless of how you got here, it’s safe to say that the shortage of housing for students has added stress to an already stressful situation. But it doesn’t have to be that way if you’re a female studying in NYC!

If you’re worried because your school has limited housing, then take a deep breath because we are here to help. The Webster Apartments has your back with safe, flexible, and affordable housing for women.

Safety First

Our guests at Webster relax knowing that their safety is a top priority. We have a licensed security guard to monitor our lobby 24 hours a day. And that’s just the beginning. If you’d like to learn more, you can read up on our guest policies here as well.

Our mission is to create a warm and secure environment for women who work and study in the heart of New York City. But don’t just take it from us, you can read our guest testimonials at the bottom of the page here.

Perfect place to live with amazing location and food. Extremely comfortable, clean and well organized. A dream come true for any girl looking for an affordable way to live in NYC. – Luiza M., Webster Guest

Flexibility Is Key

In addition to safety, we find flexibility for our guests to be key as well. Off-campus student housing in NYC can be tricky if you are required to sign a lengthy lease.

The benefit of a co-living building like Webster is that we only require a minimum stay of 4 weeks and a maximum of 5 years. Because we offer month-to-month options, you can explore the city without the heavy commitment of a multi-year lease.

I lived there for 6 months, had the most amazing time ever. It was easy to make friends; my room was so cozy and the staff was really nice. [I] would stay here again for sure! –Rosita K., Webster Guest 2016

Affordable For Students

In addition to a fully furnished room with amenities, we keep it affordable on your student budget too. No need to pay an extreme amount for off-campus student housing. It’s unfortunate that some NYC schools are at capacity with their student housing, but it doesn’t mean you need to overpay for a city apartment.

Our applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, which means you can check in on any day.  No need to wait until the Fall semester begins if you’d like to get a jump on city life now.

You can view eligibility and rates on our site here. You’ll find that we are a great solution to your off-campus student housing dilemma. Our goal is to provide students from nearby schools like New York University (NYU), Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Fordham University, and Columbia University with safety, flexibility, and affordability in the heart of the city.
